The magnification of the larger Yukon Jaeger scope can be adjusted between 3-12x. Low magnification provides a large field of view for moving targets, and setting it to the highest magnification brings the target sufficiently close for long-range shots. Thanks to its 56 mm diameter front lens and the lighting point, it is also excellent for use in twilight.
Multi-coated lens elements ensure maximum light transmission, contrast and color fidelity. With the increased field of view, Jaeger binoculars stand out among binoculars in a similar price category. The special design of the eyepiece enables quick target acquisition when aiming the weapon.
They are also excellent for use in rainy weather, even in heavy rain and snow. They have IPX7 protection according to IEC 60529. The internal optical spaces are protected by a nitrogen gas filling from fogging, which would occur especially at rapidly changing temperatures.
The tube is made of high-quality, one-piece, high-strength aluminum, and can withstand 7,000 J of energy. It can be used on large-caliber (e.g.: .375 H&H) and non-threaded airguns, as well as spring-loaded airguns.
The design of the Jaeger lenses and the reinforced tube allow the use of night vision and thermal camera attachments. The height adjustment and lateral correction towers can be reset immediately.
The size of the reticle located in the second image plane is the same at all magnifications, so it covers as little as possible of the target. The center of the reticle can be illuminated in several levels (7 levels and NV). The illumination can be switched off between the different stages, so that if necessary, the light point in the middle of the crosshairs can be switched on and off immediately. A separate illumination mode can be selected for the use of a night vision device mounted behind the scope.
It is an excellent tool for both sport shooting and hunting.
