DDoptics' third generation V6 2.5-16x42 scope is made of robust aluminum alloy, impact-resistant and free of plastic parts. All aluminum parts are anodized. The optics use high-performance CT (Clear Transmission) glass, which guarantees a bright and clear image, thus offering a high-contrast, parallax-free and true-to-color image with outstanding edge definition properties and excellent transmission even at 16x magnification. With a field of view of 14 m or 2.5 m (with 2.5 or 16 times magnification), the optics are suitable for any hunting purpose.
The scope is equipped with a hair-thin, illuminated A4N (image plane 2), which only minimally obscures the target. In low light conditions or at night, the reflexless, red fiber optic light point, which can be precisely and continuously dimmed and is optionally available with intelligent automatic on/off (iFiber ™).
The crosshair of the "V6 2.5-16x42" can be adjusted extremely quickly (ASV). Metal towers for height and windage adjustment are completely waterproof. The ASV is equipped with double scaling and a Zerostop function. This allows you to set different shooting distances depending on the direction and strength of the wind and the movement of the target. The crosshair is set at 0.1 MRAD (milliradian) per click. This corresponds to 1 cm at 100 cm. The click adjustment works with absolute accuracy and repeatability.
One turn of the adjusting tower corresponds to 10 mrad. (100 cm in 100 m) The total adjustment range is 26 mrad. (260 cm at 100 m) This corresponds to an adjustment range of 2600-1000 m.
During the day, shots can be safely fired at long distances with the 16x magnification. When hunting at night in combination with a night vision or thermal camera accessory (obey the legal requirements), the parallax compensation with its enormous adjustment range enables uniquely high magnifications. The specially designed parallax compensation (distance of 10 m) is able to compensate even at higher magnifications for image blur caused by night vision and thermal camera recording, which does not work with weaker scopes or those without parallax compensation.
