The DDoptics universal hiking and scouting binoculars have been available since April 2016 in the highest brightness 50 mm version. Binoculars in this design are generally less common, as most manufacturers focus on sizes with a 42 mm objective diameter or offer 8x56 night binoculars.
Many positive features can be combined with a great 12x50 binocular. For example, these binoculars are particularly useful for bird watching in low light conditions and for night and twilight hunting. The Ultralight 12x50 is surprisingly bright and can be used almost until the last rays of the sun, and with a weight of 789 g it is considered a real featherweight. The field of view of more than 86 meters with the DDoptics Ultralight 12x50 binoculars clearly surpasses most 12x50 binoculars on the market.
Whether in the mountains or by the North Sea, whether at -15 degrees or 45 degrees in the desert. The waterproof and nitrogen-filled Ultralight simply excludes all extreme factors, the picture is always good.
With the Ultralight 12x50 binoculars, we offer optics that really do everything you can expect from a model of this size. An open bridge is also hardly or not at all found in binoculars in this price category. The field of view of over 86 m and the convincing resolution cannot be reached by its competitors, even with binoculars that are twice as expensive. In summary: the Ultralight 12x50 binoculars are one of the most modern binoculars with excellent optics.
The tube is made of ultra-hard and unbreakable polycarbonate.
The focus dial moves freely and without backlash. It's not too heavy and not too loose, and can be easily and precisely brought into "focus" during fine adjustments. The diopter adjustment dial on the right eyepiece can be precisely adjusted. The eyecups offer four adjustment options, so both those who wear glasses and those who don't can set the best possible and most comfortable viewing distance.
