Gate terminal measuring body temperature
Temperature measurement with a thermal camera
In the last two decades, we have heard several times about new types of viral infectious diseases, in 2002 about the SARS virus, in 2012 about MERS and bird flu, but we observed them from a distance and did not really feel their health or economic effects. However, the latest coronavirus is now affecting our continent and even our country, threatening serious public health risks and serious economic damage. It spreads quickly and easily in workplaces with large numbers of people and at mass events, so it is literally vital and in our common interest to screen out individuals suspected of infection and limit the spread of the infection.
One of the most easily visible symptoms of a person infected with the coronavirus is a rise in temperature and fever, which can be measured quickly and efficiently even in larger groups with a suitable thermal camera.
InfiRay has not stopped developing since the virus situation began. In addition to countless high-performance body temperature measuring devices, it is also developing for areas with less through traffic. The IRS-AC822-H is a small-space automatic body temperature measuring device, which non-contact, accurately and quickly checks the body temperature of people passing within its range (0.3-1.5 meters) and gives an alarm if someone's temperature is higher than normal. In a mass directed in narrower zones, slowed down for a moment in front of the camera, with a reaction time of up to 0.2 seconds, it automatically indicates values above the set temperature. The device has intelligent software that can measure the temperature of several people at the same time, and it also supports measurement while wearing a mask. It is not affected by glasses, hats or other disturbing factors.
The face recognition algorithm achieves an accuracy of over 92%, which database can store 50,000 different faces.
A dual sensor is responsible for image quality. All photos are made up of thermal image camera and CMOS camera data. The face exposure has a dynamic range of 120 dB, it guarantees good identification even in the case of background light, and images taken in the dark also have good noise filtering.
The camera's operating temperature range is between -40 and +60°C, within which it works with excellent accuracy (+/-0.5°C) at ambient temperatures of +20 - +35°C.
The content of the IRS-AC822-H set includes the thermal camera display, the console and power supply, with which the user can fix the camera in the way and place he deems most appropriate - in gate mode. With the help of the attached adapter base, it can be mounted on a table / counter perfectly. The manufacturer includes 1 pipe stand for the installation of the thermal camera.
Operating conditions:
The optimum ambient temperature is approx. 25°C, strong external influences such as drafts coming from outside, heaters, sunshine, or exposed glass walls and other heat sources can disrupt the operation of the device, so they should not be in the camera's field of view. Do not take the measurement directly from the outside into the room, if the outside temperature differs greatly, because this reduces the accuracy. In order to ensure proper operation, it is advisable to direct people in front of the camera with a deceleration cordon.
